The present study aimed to validate the components of organizational wisdom among primary school principals and to propose an appropriate model. It was a mixed–methods study (qualitative- quantitative). The research population consisted of primary school principals in Shiraz city. The qualitative sampling was conducted purposively, using a criterion-based approach, while the quantitative sample comprised of 160 principals, determined according to the Morgan–Krejcie table. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS and LISREL software. The results of the exploratory factor analysis revealed five components that play a role in developing the organizational wisdom model and formulating an appropriate framework for the education system, i.e., management of key factors, pragmatism, strategy, organizational capability, and internal and external organizational management. Quantitative findings indicated that the final research model demonstrated an acceptable level of goodness of fit.
