Perhaps it can be said that, communication is one of the oldest, and at the same time, the best human achievement. In addition to various functions for human beings, communication is the foundation of social activities and social life. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the body language of instructors and to interpret common discourse in language of teachers. In other to achieve this goal, the qualitative method of the phenomenological type is used. The statistical population of this study consisted of teachers of farhangian university with more than three years of teaching experience and background within the year 2017-2018. The sample was selected through purposive sampling and 15 people were selected based on theoretical saturation. The data gathering tool was a semi-structured interview, and after expressing the aims of the research and emphasizing the principle of confidentiality, the interviews with teachers were recorded and written. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data, and the findings of the data were interpreted. Results showed that teachers use body language signals for seven types of discourses including: warning discourse, confirmation and uncertainty, intimacy, trust, anger, thinking and control. Finally, it can be said that body language is effective in simplification of expressing issues, creating positive situations and views in the classroom, success in teaching process, the teachers trust in students and the ability for efficient learning.
