TIMSS data (2011) in eighth grade were used for this purpose. It contained the data taken from 6029 students from 238 schools. The dependent variable of this research was the math score of the students and the independent variable at the student level was the amount of the time spent on the homework and at the school / teacher level is the amount of time that the teacher gives to the student for doing the homework. Three 2 level analyses were considered with three different sample sizes of 5, 50 and 238 and the impact of the sample size was examined on the fixed and random effects. The results showed that by increasing the sample size at the second level, the test power is increased and the estimation error is decreased. The standard deviation also increases with increasing the sample size and the dispersion reaches its maximum. Therefore, in order to obtain more accurate estimates of the covariance between the errors, increasing the number of the study groups is recommended at the second level.}, keywords = {sample size,Multilevel Modeling,TIMSS,fixed effects,Random Effects}, title_fa = {حجم نمونة بهینه در مدل‌سازی چند سطحی: بررسی تأثیر حجم نمونه بر اثرهای ثابت و تصادفی با استفاده از داده‌های تیمز}, abstract_fa = {با توجه به افزایش کاربرد مدل‌های چند سطحی، تعیین تعداد نمونه از دغدغه‌های اصلی محققان این حوزه است. لذا هدف اصلی این پژوهش بررسی حجم نمونة بهینه در مدل‌های دو سطحی است. بدین منظور از داده‌های تیمز (2011) در پایة هشتم استفاده شد که تعداد آن‌ها 6029 دانش‌آموز از 238 مدرسه است. متغیر وابستة این پژوهش پیشرفت ریاضیات دانش‌آموزان پایة هشتم و متغیر مستقل در سطح دانش‌آموز، متغیر مدت ‌زمان انجام تکلیف است و در سطح مدرسه-معلم هم مدت زمانی است که معلم برای انجام تکلیف به دانش‌آموز می‌دهد. سه تحلیل دو سطحی با سه حجم متفاوت 5، 50 و 238 نمونه در نظر گرفته شد و اندازة نمونه بر اثرهای ثابت و تصادفی بررسی شد. نتایج نشان داد، با افزایش حجم نمونه در سطح دوم، توان آزمون افزایش و خطای برآورد نیز کاهش می‌یابد. همچنین، با افزایش نمونه، انحراف استانداردها افزایش می‌یابد و پراکندگی به حداکثر خود می‌رسد. لذا به‌منظور داشتن براوردهای دقیق‌تر از کواریانس بین خطاها، افزایش تعداد گروه‌های مورد مطالعه در سطح دوم توصیه می‌شود.}, keywords_fa = {حجم نمونه,مدل‌سازی چند سطحی,تیمز,اثرات ثابت,اثرات تصادفی}, url = {https://noavaryedu.oerp.ir/article_114615.html}, eprint = {https://noavaryedu.oerp.ir/article_114615_6ce4ff7122b8219afece3e83b2f62892.pdf} }
