The required data was collected from a sample including 602 students (386 girls & 316 boys) of second & third grades of high-schools in the cities of Fars province through a multistage stratified–cluster random sampling method and by Strenberg Thinking Style Scale (1997). Minimum correlation between the items of the instruments and percent of scales alpha were 34% & 66%, respectively, representative of high validity of the instruments. The research data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistics through t-test and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and at last through the multivariate regression (stepwise method). The research findings indicated that: 1. Frequently, the subjects, with respect to attitude aspect, were conservative and from the viewpoint of the functional thinking were often subjected to rules and executives of instructions and in terms of level were global. 2.The relations of students general thinking style with academic achievement and age was non-significant but to gender, was significant and the girls thinking style scores was more than the boys thinking scores (r=2.193, p= 0/022) and the boys in comparison to the girls, were more global, more conservative and more legislative.  3. In general, the more the liberal attitude of students, the more their academic achievement. This conclusion was applicable for the boys (r=0/226, p < 0/001), but it had no justification for the girls. Furthermore, the boys that in the functional dimension had more judicial thinking have been more successful in education (r=0/117, p < 0/042), in contrast, it is incorrect for the girls. 4. For girls, there was no significant relation between general thinking style & its dimensions and academic achievement. The strongest explanation of the girls academic achievement has been their ages with a negative correlation. 5. Among students (the girls & the boys), those who were older, had more academic wastage too (r=-0/161, p < 0/001). Also by increase in the age, particularly their executive thinking (obedience) (r=0/099, p < 0/015) and conservative attitudes have increased (r=0/130, p < 0/001). Its a noticeable point that in functional dimension, along with increase in the age, the boys have been more judicial (r=0/128, p < 0/024), but the girls were more executive (more obedient) (r=0/164, p < 0/008). 6. The factors of age, liberal thinking and gender, respectively, have had a fundamental effect on predicting the students academic achievement (R=0/221, R2=0/049, n=558, Ad R2=0/04). Those students have had more academic achievement, in comparison with their classmates, who have been 1)younger and in their own educational age; and 2)those who have had more liberal attitudes; and 3)those who have been girls. 7.The factors of liberal thinking style and age, respectively, have had fundamental effect on predicting the boys academic achievement that, by having 27% of correlation in all, could have explained about 7% variance of the boys academic achievement (R=0/265, R2 =0/070, n =300, Ad R2 =0/064).}, keywords = {high school students,Thinking skills,academic achievement}, title_fa = {بررسی تطبیقی رابطۀ بین سبک های تفکر دختران و پسران دبیرستانی با پیشرفت تحصیلی آنان}, abstract_fa = {هدف این مقاله بررسی سبک های تفکر دانش آموزان و ارتباط آن با پیشرفت تحصیلی، جنسیت و سن آنان از دید روانشناسی اجتماعی است. اطلاعات مورد نیاز از میان 602 نفر دانش آموز (286 دختر و 316 پسر) سال دوم و سوم دبیرستانی شهرهای استان فارس با روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای – خوشه ای چند مرحله ای و با مقیاس سبک تفکر استرنبرگ (1997) گردآوری شده است. کمترین همبستگی میان گویه های ابزار 0/34 و مقدار آلفای طیف ها 0/66 مبین معتبر بودن ابزار بوده است. داده های پژوهش با بهره گیری از روش های آمار توصیفی، آزمون t، ضریب همبستگی پیرسون (در آزمون تفاوت ها و همبستگی ها) و رگرسیون چند متغیری مدل مرحله ای مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است. یافته های پژوهش نشان داده است: 1. دانش آموزان مورد بررسی غالباً از نظر گرایشی محافظه کار، از نظر تفکر عملکردی، اغلب تابع و مجری دستورات و از نظر سطح، کلان نگر بوده اند. 2. ارتباط سبک تفکرکلی دانش آموزان با پیشرفت تحصیلی و سن، معنادار نبوده اما با جنسیت رابطه ای معنادار داشته است. نمرات سبک تفکر دختران بیش از نمرات سبک تفکر پسران بوده (T=2/193, p = 0/029) اما پسران کلی نگرتر، محافظه کارتر و قانونگذارتر از دختران بوده اند. 3. در مجموع دانش آموزان دارای گرایش آزادیخواهانه، پیشرفت تحصیلی بیشتری داشته اند. این نتیجه گیری در مورد پسران صادق (r=0/226, p < 0/001) بوده اما دربارۀ دختران مصداق نداشته است. همچنین پسرانی که در بعد عملکرد، تفکری تحلیلی تر (قضایی تر) داشته اند در درس موفق تر بوده اند (r=0/117, p < 0/042). این امر در مورد دختران صادق نبوده است. 4. سبک تفکر کلی و ابعاد آن، با پیشرفت تحصیلی دختران همبستگی معنادار نداشته است. قویترین تبیین کنندۀ پیشرفت تحصیلی دختران، سن آنان به گونۀ منفی بوده است. 5. دانش آموزانی که سن بیشتری داشته اند، افت تحصیلی آن ها بیشتر بوده است (r=-0/161, p < 0/001). همچنین با افزایش سن، بر روحیه و تفکر اجرایی (اطاعت پذیری) (r=0/099, p < 0/015)و گرایش به محافظه کاری (r=0/130, p < 0/001) آن ها افزوده شده است. نکتۀ قابل توجه اینکه در بعد عمل، با افزایش سن، پسران تحلیل گرتر (قضایی تر) (r =0/128, p = 0/024) اما دختران اجرایی تر (مطیع تر)  بوده اند. 6. عوامل سن، تفکر آزادیخواهانه وجنسیت به ترتیب در پیش بینی وضعیت تحصیلی کل دانش آموزان تأثیر اساسی داشته است (R=0/221, R2=0/049, n=558, Ad R2=0/04). بدین ترتیب دانش آموزانی که جوان تر و در سن آموزشی بوده اند، گرایشی آزادی خواهانه تر داشته و دختر بوده اند، پیشرفت تحصیلی بیشتری داشته اند. 7. در پیش بینی پیشرفت تحصیلی پسران، سبک تفکر آزادیخواهانه و سن، به ترتیب تأثیر اساسی داشته است و درمجموع با داشتن 27 درصد همبستگی توانسته اند در حدود 7 درصد از واریانس پیشرفت تحصیلی پسران را تبیین کنند (R=0/265, R2 =0/070, n =300, Ad R2 =0/064).}, keywords_fa = {سبک های تفکر,پیشرفت تحصیلی}, url = {https://noavaryedu.oerp.ir/article_78775.html}, eprint = {https://noavaryedu.oerp.ir/article_78775_90972f07698831561ddbbbd2dd11f8f5.pdf} }
