The steps for reviewing, accepting, and publishing articles in the Educational Innovations Journal are as follows:
1- Editor’s opinion: If the file is complete, the article will be sent to the editor to determine its scientific level and its compatibility with the journal’s subject matter, and ultimately to obtain permission to enter the review process:
If the editor's opinion on the mentioned items is positive, the article will be referred to the editorial board.
If the editor's opinion is negative, a letter of non-acceptance of the article will be issued.
2- Holding an editorial board meeting: If the articles referred to the editorial board reach the quorum, an editorial board meeting will be held and the articles will be reviewed by the members of the editorial board in the editorial board meeting:
If the opinion of the members of the editorial board is positive, 3 Reviewers will be determined for scientific review of the article.
If the opinion of the members of the editorial board is negative, a letter of non-acceptance of the article will be issued.
3- Sending for review: If the article information is complete, it will be sent simultaneously to 3 Reviewers:
If the result of 3 Reviewers is positive, under the supervision of the editor, Reviewers' opinions will be sent to authors.
If 2 Reviewers' results are positive and 1 Reviewer's result is negative, under the supervision of the editor, Reviewers' opinions will be sent to authors.
If 2 Reviewers' results are negative, a letter of non-acceptance of the article will be issued.
4- Application of Reviewers’ opinions by the author(s): Authors whose articles are in the editing and correction stage have 2 weeks to revise the article according to the Reviewers’ opinions and resubmit it to the journal. The revised sections must be highlighted and respond to the Reviewers’ opinions.
5- Receiving the revised article for final evaluation: The revised article will be sent to all three initial evaluators for final evaluation.
If the author's revisions are fully approved by the Reviewers, the article will be referred to the editor for final opinion.
If some of the revisions are not approved by the final Reviewer, the article will be returned to the author again. It should be noted that this stage is repeated only once. After making revisions by the author, the article will be sent to the Reviewer again for control. If the revisions made at this stage are not approved by the Reviewer again, the article will be referred to the editor for determination.
6- Final opinion of the editor: After approval of the article by the Reviewers, the editor announces his final opinion.
If the editor approves the article for submission to the printing process, first, the citation method of the article (compliance with APA style) and compliance of in-text sources and reference list will be reviewed, then the article will be referred to the journal's literary editor for editing.
The application of source-related and editorial corrections will be done by the author.
7- Placing accepted articles in a list of articles ready for publication: After applying APA source corrections and editorial corrections by authors, articles will be placed in a list of articles ready for publication.
8- Publication of articles: All articles, after page layout and editing and before publication, will be sent to responsible authors so that if there are any items that need control and change, they can be done.
Note: All correspondence is done with responsible authors. Follow-up on all matters related to review stages and results, editing time, acceptance and publication of articles is only done by responsible authors. The journal office is excused from responding to other co-authors.
Dear authors, please note that based on the “Regulations for Determining the Cost of Processing Articles in Open Access Scientific Journals” approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, with the number Atf-A-3112 dated 2021-04-21, and based on the minutes of the meeting “Receiving money from scientific journals of the Research and Educational Planning Organization” with the number 5702 on 2021-07-11, from the time of uploading this resolution in the Educational Innovations Journal system (2021-08-24), from authors of articles that are accepted after going through the review stages, an amount of 600,000 Tomans will be charged.
